तनुजा का जन्मदिन । 23 सितंबर भारतीय फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के लिए एक यादगार तारीख है। आज से 81 साल पहले इसी दिन दिग्गज अभिनेत्री तनुजा का जन्म हुआ था। मतलब 23 सितंबर 2024 को तनुजा 81 साल की हो गईं।
तनुजा का जन्म ही एक फिल्मी परिवार में 23 सितम्बर 1943 को मुंबई हुआ था। उसके पिता कुमारसेन समर्थ कवि और फिल्म निर्देशक थे तो मां शोभना समर्थ उस समय की सुविख्यात अभिनेत्री थी।परिवार और पारिवारिक माहौल का असर तनुजा पर भी पड़ा। फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में उनकी इंट्री बतौर बाल कलाकार वर्ष 1950 में अपनी मां के होम प्रोडक्शन की फिल्म हमारी बेटी से हई। इस फिल्म से उनकी बड़ी बहन नूतन ने भी अभिनेत्री के तौर पर शुरूआत की थी।
13 साल की उम्र में तनूजा पढ़ने के लिये स्विटजरलैंड चली गई, जहां उन्होंने अंग्रेजी, फ्रेंच और जर्मन भाषाएं सीखीं। बतौर अभिनेत्री छबीली (1958) तनुजा की पहली फिल्म थी। तनुजा का जिंदगी जीने का अंदाज अपना ही था। बिल्कुल बिंदास अंदाज में वह जीवन का आनंद उठाती थी। उनका यह अंदाज आज भी बरकरार है। उस समय तनुजा उन चंद अभिनेत्रियों में शामिल थी जो सिगरेट और व्हिस्की पीया करती थी।
वर्ष 1961 में प्रदर्शित फिल्म हमारी याद आएगी तनुजा के करियर की महत्वपूर्ण फिल्म साबित हुई। इस फिल्म में तनुजा का सहज और स्वाभाविक अभिनय ने दर्शकों को यह एहसास करा दिया कि गीता बाली की असमय मौत के बाद उनके खाली स्थान को भरने वाली नायिका उन्हें मिल गयी है।
तब हिंदी फिल्मों के अलवा तनुजा ने बंगला फिल्मों में भी अपनी विशिष्ट पहचान बनाई। बांग्ला फिल्मों में तनुजा की जोड़ी उत्तम कुमार और सौमित्र चटर्जी के साथ काफी पसंद की जाती थी। गुजराती, मराठी, मलयालम और पंजाबी भाषाओं की फिल्मों में भी काम कर तनुजा ने अपनी खास पहचान बनाई और दौलत-शोहरत दोनों ही अर्जित किया। तनूजा ने शशधर मुखर्जी के सबसे छोटे पुत्र शोमू मुखर्जी से वर्ष 1973 में शादी कर ली। उनकी दो बेटियां है। बड़ी बेटी काजोल भी हिन्दी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री की जानी मानी अत्रिनेत्रियों में शुमार है। तनुजा के सिने करियर में उनकी जोड़ी राजेश खन्ना के साथ काफी पसंद की गई। वर्ष 1967 में प्रदर्शित फिल्म पैसा या प्यार के लिए तनुजा को सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेत्री का फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार भी दिया गया।
तनूजा की करियर की कुछ उल्लेखनीय हिन्दी फिल्में नयी उमर की नयी फसल, भूत बंगला, बहारें फिर भी आएंगी, ज्वैल थीफ, दो दूनी चार, जीने की राह, गुस्ताखी माफ, पैसा या प्यार, पवित्र पापी, बचपन, हाथी मेरे साथी, दूर का राही, मेरे जीवन साथी, दो चोर, एक बार मुस्करा दो, अनुभव, अमीरगरीब, इम्तिहान, प्रेम रोग, बेखुदी, साथिया, खाकी आदि शामिल हैं। आज तनुजा का जन्मदिन है। उन्हें Xposenow.com की ओर से ढेर सारी बधाइयां और शुभकामनाएं।
