इस कांफ्रेंस में भारत के साथ साथ जर्मनी,आस्ट्रेलिया, बंगला देश,तंजानिया आदि देश- विदेश के डाक्टरों ने शिरकत की।
डा. रवि प्रकाश ने कहा कि आजकल खास कर फैटी लीवर और सिरोसिस एक आम समस्या हो गई है। इसमें रोगी को पता नहीं चलता है। यह रोग खास कर चिकनाई युक्त भोजन करने, शराब का सेवन करने आदि कारणों से होता है। इस के अलावा पुराने हिपोटाइसिस के मरीजों को ऐसा होता है।

लीवर सिरोसिस एक बेहद ही गंभीर बीमारी है। इसमें लीवर के सेल्स डैमेज हो जाते हैं, जिसकी वजह से लीवर सही से काम नहीं कर पाता है। जब ये समस्या बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ जाती है तो उसे एडवांस सिरोसिस कहते हैं। लीवर सिरोसिस होने पर थकान, कम भूख लगना, उल्टी, पैरों में सूजन, वजन कम होना, त्वचा में खुजली लगना आदि लक्षण देखने को मिलते हैं।

डा रवि प्रकाश ने लोगों को सलाह दी कि फैटी लीवर के खतरे को कम करने के लिए आप हेल्दी चीजों को जैसे कि फ्रूट्स, सब्जियां, साबुत अनाज आदि को अपने डाइट में शामिल करें। आपका वजन अगर ज्यादा बढ़ा हुआ है तो एक्सरसाइज करके वजन घटाएं. इससे भी सिरोसिस के खतरे को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।
