Singer Alok Kumar Sinha बिहार संगीत जगत का एक जाना माना नाम है। संगीत के अधिकतर प्रोफेशनल मंच पर इनकी उपस्थिति देखी जाती रही है। बिहार के बाहर भी दिल्ली, झारखंड, पूणे, उड़िसा, सिलीगुड़ी, आसनसोल,इलाहाबाद सहित कई अन्य सम्मानित मंचों पर भी इन्हें गाने का मौका मिला है। कारण भी है। ये एक बेहतरीन गायक हैं। अपनी गायकी से ये श्रोताओं को बरबस ही अपनी ओर खिंच लेते हैं। इनकी मधुर और कर्णप्रिय आवाज तो लोगों के कानों में मिठास घोलती ही है। गीत के शब्दों के भाव भी दिल की गहराइयों तक उतर कर आह और वाह वाह की चरम तक ले जाते हैं।
संगीत में आने के पहले आलोक एक अच्छे और प्रोफेशनल फोटोग्राफर के रूप में अपने को स्थापित कर चुके थे। तब वो मॉडलिंग फोटोग्राफी के क्षेत्र में एक जाने माने नाम बन चुके थे। अच्छा भला कैरियर चल रहा था।वीडियग्राफी का क्रेज बढ़ा तो अतिरिक्त आर्थिक लाभ के लिए उसमें भी इन्होंने हाथ आजमाया। तभी फोटोग्राफी के कारण परिस्थिति कुछ ऐसी बनी कि इन्हें 6-7 महीने के लिए पश्चिम बंगाल में खास कर कलकत्ता रहना पड़ा। वहां उन्हें संगीत को सुनने समझने का भरपूर मौका मिला।

Singer Alok Kumar Sinha की संगीत यात्रा
संगीत में यहीं इनकी रूचि जगी तो स्कूल ऑफ लंदन म्यूजिक में दाखिला ले लिया। यहीं से ही आलोक के अंदर पाश्चात्य संगीत का बीज अँकुरित हुआ। बस वहीं से इन्होंने गाना शुरु कर दिया। छोटा बड़ा मंच भी इन्हें मिलने लगा। लेकिन ये अपने परफॉर्मेंस और संगीत से संतुष्ट नहीं थे। तब इन्होंने शास्त्रीय संगीत की ओर रूख किया। प्रयाग संगीत समिति इलाहाबाद से इन्होंने संगीत में प्रभाकर किया। साथ ही प्राचिन कला केंद्र से इन्होंने संगीत विशारद की डिग्री इन्होंने हासिल की। इसके बाद भी ये लगातार स्वअध्याय करते रहे है।

संगीत को पढ़ने और उसकी बारिकियों को समझने के लिए आज भी वो अपने संगीत अध्य्यन को जारी रखे हुए हैं। हालाकि आलोक आलोक पटना से ही विज्ञान स्नातक भी हैं। संगीत यात्रा के क्रम में आलोक ने 2003 से 2009 तक डॉन बॉस्को स्कूल में संगीत शिक्षक भी रहे हैं। Singer Alok Kumar Sinha कहते हैं कि संगीत साधना की चीज है। व्यवसायिक और पारिवारिक जिंदगी में मैं संगीत की साधना नहीं कर पाता हूं। लेकिन संगीत मेरे लिए पूजा है। संगीत की मैं पूजा करता हूं। दिन और रात मेरा अधिकतर समय संगीत सेवा में ही गुजरता है। मैं बोरिंग रोड में ही अपनी संस्था म्यूजिक महल संगीत एवं कला महाविद्यालय चलाता हूं। इसमें लॉकडाउन के पहले लगभग 250 बच्चे संगीत के विभिन्न विद्धाओं में शिक्षा ग्रहण करते थे।

कोरोना के कारण मेरा स्कूल भी कुछ समय के लिए प्रभावित हुआ था लेकिन अब फिर से स्तर पर तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण शुरू कर दिया गया है। मैं खुद गायन-वादन सीखाता हूं। परफॉर्मेंस और कैरियर के ख्याल से आजकल फिल्मी संगीत की मांग अधिक होती है। इसलिए पाश्चात्य संगीत सीखने वाले ज्यादा लोग आते हैं। मैं गिटार, पियानों और हारमोनियम आदि वाद्ययंत्रों को बजाना खुद से सीखाता हूं। मुझे खुशी है और संतुष्टी है कि मेरे द्वारा सीखाए गए लगभग 300 ऐसे कलाकार हैं जो संगीत के माध्यम से धनोपार्जन करते हैं और अपने परिवार का भरण-पोषण करते हैं।

अपने संगीत से संतुष्ट हैं आलोक
आलोक ने बेहद खूबसूरत अपना एक म्यूजिक स्टूडियो भी बना रखा है। जहां म्यूजिक रिकार्डिंग की मुक्कमल व्यवस्था है। आलोक कहते हैं आज के माहौल को देशभक्ति से जोड़ते हुए कुछ गीतों को मैंने लिखा है। उसका एलबम बनाना है। यह मेरा ड्रिम प्रोजेक्ट है। बातचीत में आलोक अपने एक और ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट के बारे बताते हैं। वो कहते हैं रोजी रोटी के लिए मैं पाश्चात्य गीत गाता जरूर हूं लेकिन मेरी आत्मा तो शास्त्रीय संगीत में ही बसती है। मेरी इच्छा है कि श्रीकृष्ण मेमोरियल हॉल में शास्त्रीय संगीत का कार्यक्रम करूं। ऐसे कार्यक्रम की योजना बना रहा हूं जो बिहार के लिए माइलस्टोन साबित हो।

म्यूजिक महल के नाम से बोरिंग रोड में ही म्यूजिकल इंस्ट्रूमेंट की दूकान भी चलाते हैं। जहां हर तरह के म्यूजिकल इंस्ट्रूमेंट उपलबध हैं। यहां इनकी मरम्मती की भी व्यवस्था है। आलोक जब किसी को इंस्ट्रूमेंट देते हैं तो ट्यून भी करते हैं और कहते हैं कि इस ट्यून करने के बहाने अलग अलग चीजों के बहाने मेरा रियाज भी होता रहता है। Singer Alok Kumar Sinha कहते हैं कि मेरा दिन और रात संगीत के साथ ही गुजरता है। अच्छी बात ये है कि इससे मुझेआत्मिक संतुष्टि मिलती है।
