Chandrayaan-3 इसरो का बहु प्रतिक्षित मिशन चंद्रयान 3 आज शाम 6 बजकर 4 मिनट पर चंद्रमा के साउथ पोल की सतह पर करेगा सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग। इसी के साथ अब से मात्र कुछ घंटे बाद ही भारत एक नया इतिहास रचेगा। पूरी दुनिया उस क्षण की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है। भारत तो उत्साहित है ही। देशभर में इसकी सफलता को लेकर पूजा अर्चना किये जा रहे हैं। खास बात ये है कि अब तक दुनिया के किसी भी देश को चांद के साउथ पोल पर उतरने में सफलता नहीं मिली है। चंद्रयान 3 अगर आज शाम सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग में सफल हो जाता है तो चंद्रमा के साउथ पोल (डार्क साइड ऑफ मून) पर उतरने वाला दुनिया का पहला देश बन जाएगा।

इसरो के अनुसार चंद्रयान-2 मिशन का ही अगला चरण है चंद्रयान-3। इसे चंद्रमा की सतह पर परीक्षण के लिए भेजा गयाा है। एक प्रणोदन मॉड्यूल, एक लैंडर और एक रोवर से लैस है यह Chandrayaan-3 । मिशन की सफलता के लिए इसमें नए और एडवांस्ड उपकरण इसमें जोड़े गए हैं। एल्गोरिदम को भी बेहतर किया गया है। इसमें उन कारों को दूर करन की कोशिश की गई है, जिनकी वजह से चंद्रयान-2 मिशन असफल रहा था।
