पटना, संवाददाता। महिला इमदाद कमेटी,बिहार ने ऊर्जा पार्क में लिट्टरा पब्लिक स्कूल के बच्चों और आशादीप संस्थान के दिव्यांग बच्चों के लिए एक क्रिकेट मैच का आयोजन किया। इस आयोजन का मकसद था इन दिव्यांग बच्चों को मुख्यधारा से जोड़ने की कोशिश और उनमें यह आत्मविश्वास पैदा करना कि वो भी समाज के दूसरे आम बच्चों की तरह ही हैं और उनके हमकदम हो सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत अतिथियों द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलित कर की गई।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि थे नालंदा खुला विवि और पटना विवि के वॉयस चांसलर प्रोफेसर केसी सिन्हा। साथ में मुख्य वक्ता थे प्रोफेसर पीके पोद्दार। महिला इमदाद कमेटी की उपाध्यक्ष ममता मेहरोत्रा ने अतिथियों का स्वागत पुष्प गुच्छ देकर किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन कर रही थी महिला इमदाद कमेटी की सचिव पूनम चौधरी।
मौके पर केसी सिन्हा ने कहा कि क्रिकेट हार्ड वर्क और टीमवर्क की भावना तो पैदा करता ही है, साथ में आत्म विश्वास भी पैदा करता है। ऐसे में सामान्य और दिव्यांग बच्चों का एक साथ खेलना बहुत ही सुखद है। मुख्य वक्ता के तौर पर प्रोफेसर केसी पोद्दार ने खेल और क्रिकेट पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।

कमेटी की उपाध्यक्षा ममता मेहरोत्रा ने कहा कि यहां हार जीत महत्व नहीं है, महत्वपूर्ण है वह विश्वास जो असमानता को दूर कर समानता को पैदा करता है। कमेटी के सचिव पूनम चौधरी ने मौके पर कहा कि हमें इस क्रिकेट मैच का आयोजन कर गर्व हो रहा है। यह न केवल बच्चों की प्रतिभा को उजागर करता है बल्कि यह खेल में समावेशिता और पहुंच के महत्व को भी रेखांकित करता है।
इस अवसर पर महिला इमदाद कमेटी की कार्यकारिणी सदस्यायें उपाध्यक्ष ममता मेहरोत्रा,सचिव पूनम चौधरी कोषाध्यक्ष साधना ठाकुर, उषा झा,डा. आशा त्रिपाठी, डा. मानसी पांडे, रीता सिन्हा, रंजना चौधरी सहित बच्चों के अभिभावक मौजूद थे। आशादीप की टीम 49 रनों से विजयी घोषित की गई। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी खिलाड़ियों को संस्था की सचिव पूनम चौधरी कोषाध्यक्ष साधना ठाकूुर और सदस्य आशा त्रपाठी ने ट्रॉफी प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया। दोनों ही टीम के बेस्ट प्लेयर को अलग से प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने के लिए ट्रॉफी प्रदान की गई।
